Yes, Imagine is for all ages and family friendly however anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. We offer a wide variety of activities for young dreamers throughout the weekend, a kids zone, and family/elder camping area.

Imagine Thailand is located at Lanna Resort in Chiang Mai. We highly recommend using Thailand’s app for ride-hailing services which include Grab, inDrive, Maxim and Bolt for your transportation needs throughout your visit. It is safe, punctual, and reasonably priced. Our venue is about 40 minute drive from the airport.

We only allow parking at our designated parking area and a free 2 minute shuttle will run from the parking area to main gate of the venue. DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD because The entrance of the venue is between two steep hills and having pedestrian traffic would be very dangerous.

Northern Thailand’s climate is a tropical rain forest so it might rain. However it is least likely to rain during the event becuase it is dry season (winter). Nonetheless, please be prepared for rain and morning dew/fog.

The average temperature is 30°C (86°F) during the day and 15°C (60°F) in the evening. Bring your hats and sunscreen during the day and a comfy scarf in the evenings.

Expect for bugs and mosquitoes, we are surrounded with forest lands.

There will be several food venders at the event and a restaurant on site with coffee/tea sales.

We will have drinking water stations, mobile toilet trucks with running water and shower stations.

Yes, we have the Imagine Guardians stationed and Guardians walking the grounds throughout the event. We have certified medical teams and a first aid tent on the festival grounds near general camping.

We understand there may be emotional difficulties or if you need a safe space, please drop by the Imagine Sanctuary with our support team ready to assist you.

If there is an emergency or you need assistance, please find the nearest Guardian or any staff member with a radio.

To ensure the safety, privacy and enjoyment of all festival attendees, artists, and staff, we strictly prohibits the operation of or use of any unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as “Drones”, on, from, or above the venues without specific written permission from our producers. This includes all UAVs regardless of size, weight, or purpose.

Northern Thai people are very friendly and accustomed to visitors. Please do not hesitate to ask for help and learn the culture when visiting. Thais are very welcoming and polite. Thailand is primarily a Buddha’s country so a few rules are applied in the entire country.

  • Nudity and intimate public affection is not ok. Hand holding, hugs and cheek kisses is ok.
  • It is considered very rude to put your feet up high or on tables.
  • All homes require you to take off your shoes before entering.
  • Never touch someone’s head without permission.
  • Thailand has Lèse-majesté law that makes it a criminal offense to defame, insult, or threaten a reigning monarch or royal family.
